Jo Earlam
CEO

Mark English
Cotton Consultant
Mark has over 30 years of experience in the trading department, as well as being involved in many other facets of the cotton business, from classing, to documentation, to shipping. During his time, Mark has been involved in sourcing and selling to most markets around the globe, and has a vast knowledge in dealing with the Indian subcontinent.

Ian Robinson
Cotton Consultant
Ian has over 30 years experience working for Cotton Merchants in the UK, USA, and Australia. With an impressive skill set, Ian’s main area of expertise is with the opening and negotiation of Letters of Credit, and handling the logistics function for cotton shipments worldwide. Ian has also been a Trade Finance Manager focused on establishing and managing banking facilities with a number of major international banks.

Ben Eaves
Futures & Options Expert
Ben joined Earlam & Partners in March 2017, having previously worked for a law firm since graduating from University in 2012. Ben brings with him a wealth of valuable skills from his previous background and he is quickly developing an expertise in the futures and options market. Ben is already proving to be a very useful asset to Earlam & Partners by obtaining qualifications to be an authorised and regulated broker.

Harry Bennett
Commodity Consultant
Harry joined Earlam & Partners in November 2017, having previously worked for a wealth management firm in Hong Kong. Harry first entered the financial services sector upon graduating from his Civil Engineering degree in 2015. The skills obtained from his studies and experience within the industry make him a great addition to the team. Whilst still early in his career, Harry’s passion and ambition to become a regulated broker are clear. Harry is currently studying all aspects of the commodity markets, and his spare time is spent on the golf course or socialising with family and friends.

Olly Jobling
Technology & Innovation Officer
Since finishing his masters in Innovative Manufacturing Engineering in 2017, Olly has been working in marketing and communication, focusing on the use of scalable technology to strengthen communication channels.

Victor Fernandes
Full Stack Developer
Victor joined Earlam & Partners in early 2021 after finishing his studies in America with the intention to grow EAP’s consultancy business to Portuguese and Spanish speaking countries. Victor is being introduce to all aspects of cotton trading as well as helping lead the development of a new one-stop platform that will help the entire cotton supply chain.

Ben Williams
Commodity Consultant
Ben joined Earlam & Partners in January as a commodity consultant. Having previously worked in logistics for a food ingredients trading company, importing and exporting products all around the globe, he comes with an in depth knowledge of shipping and the administration behind it. Ben is currently learning all aspects of the cotton trade as well as other commodities and writes a weekly soybean market report.

Jamie Day
Data Scientist
Jamie has always had a passion for mathematics, science and solving technical problems. This lead him to Bristol where he completed a four year Integrated Masters Degree in Engineering Mathematics. Jamie has been involved in numerous modelling projects including route optimisation, carbon footprint analysis, solar panel power generation modelling and optimisation, and the development of price prediction algorithms. Jamie prides himself in his ability to approach a new problem with a fresh perspective but guided by his modelling experience. He loves working with people and have a passion for communication.
